Christopher Henry

Chief Executive Officer

Christopher Henry co-founded Majestic in October 2008. Throughout his hospitality career, Christopher has pushed for sensible and balanced modernization of existing operations and facilities. During various development projects, Christopher has proposed self-sufficient facilities through the use of alternative power sources, artesian wells, greywater purification systems, and miniature waste treatment facilities. On a project in New Mexico, he submitted a proposal to rehabilitate Santa Fe’s Alameda River for recreational purposes. Previously, Christopher has worked for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Mauna Kea Resort, Prince Resorts Hawai’i, Vista del Sol Health Services Inc, TS Architects, the Community Leadership Institute, and the Small Business Development Center.

Terry Henry

Chief Financial Officer

Over the past four-decades Terry has been at the center of pioneering efforts in the long term care industry. He was responsible for bringing the concept of Assisted Living to California in the early 1980s. By having a forward thinking perception, Terry introduced further industry change and innovation through his association with such organizations as Beverly Enterprises, Hillhaven Company, Western Medical Enterprises, Landmark Medical, Country Villa Service Corporation, Vista Del Sol Health Service Inc, and Meridian Health Services Holding, Inc.

Matthew Majcher

Chief Marketing Officer

Supplying marketing solutions and creative innovations, Matthew constantly works to develop integral strategies and raise awareness of brands. His job is to shape engagement for active projects and prospective clients. Designing for over eleven years, Matthew grew up a digital native. He studied in the Multimedia Design Program at Loyola Marymount University and was part of the 2008 Web, Design, & New Media Department named Webby Honorees. Eventually he garnered experience in digital and content strategy, branding, user experience, and project management at ADD Marketing + Advertising, JetSet Studios, Apple, and Paramount Pictures. His experience in all facets of web, graphic, and motion design allows him to shift between various client needs and creatively direct marketing campaign

Adlai Mast

Development

Immediately after graduating from Wake Forest University, Adlai Mast went to Burkina Faso, West Africa with the Peace Corps in order to serve and develop rural villages in the Sahel. These two years in Africa inspired him to continue working and travelling abroad, which led him to the hospitality and tourism sectors, and eventually took him to the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne where he completed an Executive MBA. Although Adlai has a hotel operations background, his studies and interests focus on the creation and development of unique hospitality experiences and the implementation of sustainable hotel and tourism practices in developing countries.

Rick Beason

Project Manager

Rick Beason is a real estate development and project manager with expertise in commercial retail, office, hotel, healthcare and mixed use master planning. He brings significant experience in directing and coordinating teams of professionals in master planning, pre-development analysis, entitlements and permitting, tenant coordination, budgets and pro formas, design and construction. Rick Beason, as principal is a licensed architect with a notable success record as a Senior Project Manager and Director of Development for commercial developers and owners.

Kaitlyn Miller

Strategy

Growing up in Colorado Springs, Kaitlyn was raised with a great appreciation for tourism and the hospitality industry. After graduating high school, she attended Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado and received two Bachelors degrees; the first in Hospitality Management and the second in Marketing. Kaitlyn has experience with boutique hotels and small inn properties. Her enjoyment from the hospitality industry comes from the customers overall experience. She enjoys putting smiles on customers’ faces and going above and beyond expectations to please.

Garry Campbell

Investment Analyst

Garry’s real estate career includes extensive experience in development, asset management, acquisition and investment banking. He has worked with industry leaders such as Hyatt, Colony Capital, J. E. Robert, Robert M. Bass, and Oxford Properties. He is a frequent speaker at national real estate industry conferences, and has built his reputation on honesty, impeccable integrity, business acumen, and obtaining results. Garry has been involved in $25 billion of real estate transactions.

Catherine Tarleton

Communications Director

Catherine Tarleton has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry in Washington, DC, the Caribbean and Hawai’i. After 17 years in the executive and public relations offices of the venerable Mauna Kea Resort, an earthquake temporarily closed the hotel, creating an opportunity to expand. Catherine offers business-to-business professional communications services, and supports a variety of clients, from independent restaurants to destination resort properties and large-scale annual cultural events. With an honors certification from Hubspot Inbound Marketing University, her services include traditional public relations, press releases and media coordination, website content, social media, blogging and consulting.

Dr. Patrick Ryan

Cultural & Environmental Director

Dr. Ryan obtained a first class honors degree in zoology and his doctorate before taking up a position at the University of the South Pacific in 1978. Dr Ryan taught here until 1988, at which time he returned to New Zealand and worked for the Westland Catchment board as a freshwater biologist and later, when the Board became a Regional Council, as an environmental planner. He is unusual in that he has policed environmental legislation, written environmental legislation and then helped industry to comply with legislation. Dr Ryan has written an environmental code of ethics for the Fijian Hotel Association, been a guest lecturer on the “Clipper Odyssey” cruise ship and has done numerous photographic assignments for clients as varied as the BBC and New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Scott Hilchey

Strategic Marketing Advisor

In his career, Scott has assisted numerous businesses launch into new markets, expand product lines, grow customers, find new ones and attain profitability. Embracing a methodology that creatively combines customer/market strategy, technology and creative communications. With over 18 years of professional services experience, Scott has advised market leaders that include Disney, Hard Rock International, BMW Group NA, Harvard University Press, Citizens Telecom, Carphone Warehouse, Nissan Europe, Telenor, Gillette, PepsiCo International and, Visa International among others.

Matthew Zubrod

Food & Beverage Advisor

A native New Englander, Chef Zubrod is a 15-year veteran of The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, he has worked in their Naples, Florida, five- star property as a chef de cuisine, banquet chef and grill chef. Additionally, he trained a Summer at the Chanticleer Restaurant in Nantucket and as a stagier in Paris at Michel Rostang and Philipe Groult’s Ampycles. In both 2002 and 2006, he was recognized as one of America’s great hotel chefs by the James Beard Foundation in New York City, and appeared as their guest chef.
